INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Through using Fourpoint you enter information about your courses across multiple semesters and years of school.
The following information is synced between your devices using Apple’s CloudKit technology. This information is not shared with me, the developer.
GITHUB
This website is hosted by GITHUB. They have access to some basic technical information to perform this role, such as your IP address.
APPLE
Crash reports, logs, and rudimentary usage information are collected by Apple and provided to us in order to fix problems that result in an application crash. This is done with your consent by the operating system
The information entered into the app is synced between your devices using Apple’s CloudKit technology.
ADS AND ANALYTICS
This application is supported by Google Admob.
Google may use the advertising ID from the device on which the ad is serving to generate interests and demographics (for example, ‘sports enthusiasts’). Interests, demographics, and other data may be used to serve better targeted ads to the user.
INFORMATION USAGE
We use the information we collect to operate and improve our website, apps, and customer support.
SECURITY
The information stored in Fourpoint is not further encrypted than standard iOS device encryption. Information in fourpoint is sandboxed from other applications and not made available via the file system.
ACCESSING, CHANGING, OR DELETING INFORMATION
You may delete information from Fourpoint inbox by deleting courses, semesters, and schools from within the app on an individual basis. Note: deleting data from one device, will delete it from all.
CALIFORNIA ONLINE PRIVACY PROTECTION ACT COMPLIANCE
We comply with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.
CHILDREN’S ONLINE PRIVACY PROTECTION ACT COMPLIANCE
We never collect or maintain information from our website or app from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website or app is structured to attract anyone under 13.
